F.A.Q

HOW MANY DO I NEED?

Best practice = 1 Cymbal : 1 Baffle

Crashes and Rides require large baffles (30” Baffles).
Hi-hats require at least a mini baffle (23” Baffle).
For fusion kits or jazz players, utilize the mini baffles (23” Baffles).

How Do i mount
the drum baffles?

The rubber grommet hole has an inner diameter of 7/16” - which is a standard cymbal stand diameter. Mount the same way you would a cymbal - use felt pads on both sides and tighten the Drum Baffles securely using any cymbal wing nut. We recommend that the cymbal’s edge be in the middle of the baffle…or do whatever you want…stop complaining.

How do i clean Drum baffles?

Never use any abrasive material or abrasive soaps to the baffles. To remove dirt and smudges from the acrylic, it is recommended that you use mild soap and water and clean with a fine microfiber towel..

Is it OK to use Windex
on Acrylic/plexiglass?

To get the maximum life out of your plexiglass, never, ever use cleaning solution that contains ammonia to clean your plastic. Cleaners such as Windex or 409 will do more harm than good. Use only products specifically recommended for cleaning acrylic such as Novus #1 or Brillianize and a soft cloth.

Can i use the Drum Baffle
as a Captain American shield?

Yes. Yes, you should. It doesn’t bounce well and it will crack/shatter if dropped, but you could use those pieces to fight enemies.

can I date band groupies?

First off, we aren’t trained in relationship counseling; however stay away - unless you’re a bass player (this question doesn’t apply to people with no luck).

Why is the shipping
so expensive?

Drum Baffles are oddly shaped and are oversized by USPS, UPS & FedEX’s Standards. As a courtesy, we are carrying a portion of the cost to ship, so it doesn’t scare away business. We are continually seeking ways to lower the cost of shipping and if we can save you $$ after it’s packaged/shipped we’ll credit you the difference! Insert <SLOW CLAP>
